The students of SVCH welcomed some feathered friends into the classroom last week when Chewonki Traveling Natural History Program came to visit. During their visit, the children explored different owl adaptations, the sounds they make, and even met a few owls up close!
Friends and families of SVCH came together this past Saturday, May 18th, for our annual May Festival fundraiser and open house. We had a wonderful day! A gigantic "thank you" to all of our amazing friends and families that came together to make our Spring Festival & Open House a success!

Spring has finally arrived and the children of SVCH are celebrating with extra outside time, playing and exploring!
The preschoolers love Handwriting Without Tears! Today we practiced making the letter “D”. The focus is not only on writing but also on developing the fine motor skills needed to be successful with writing.
